Overall great experience with Aventure Car Hire, I've rented a Kia Picanto with automatic transmission which was perfect for my stay in Praslin. Staff was a bit late upon pick up (would have loved to be advised by WhatsApp or message but it's a detail) even though you can choose pick up and drop off location which is very convenient and flexible - thanks to Aventure Car Hire for that. Please as stated DO take pictures of any damage to the car at pick up, during drop off had to show to the employee picture of the left front wing for a scratch which was already here. A fantastic rental experience. We picked up and dropped off the car at the Praslin jetty. The staff was punctual, very welcoming, and provided clear and reassuring explanations (it was our first time driving on the left). The car was clean. No problems whatsoever. We highly recommend this excellent local rental company, especially on an island where a car is essential if you want to fully appreciate its beauty.

We didn't make a reservation beforehand, but that wasn't a problem. After 15 mins our car was delivered at our hotel reception. The owner is very trustworthy. Our car was almost as good as new and was nice to drive in. We could hand in the keys at the hotel reception (it was in the evening when the car rental office was closed) and the next morning the owner came to pick up the car. There were no issues at all.
